The quest to better oneself seems to be innate in humans.

When obstacles appear between you and your personal development goals, take a moment to ask yourself where the problem really lies. Sometimes you can be your own worst enemy. Your mind can inflate potential problems and magnify obstacles out of a subconscious fear of failure. You should concentrate on the strict reality of your obstacles and not let your self-doubts make mountains out of molehills.
Be prepared to take risks, think outside of the box or put yourself outside your comfort zone on the road to personal development. This can be as silly as dressing up in a Halloween costume when you are 40 or as life changing as visiting a different country. Taking risks allows us to be stronger and face challenges head on.
When it comes to personal development be sure that you have a good background on the laws of nature. This is important because in order to fully appreciate everything around you, you need to understand it and respect it. In order to fully learn about yourself, you must know the laws that your body surrenders to.
When working on personal development, it is crucial to train yourself to have a high self esteem. Self esteem is an acquired behavior that you can change. Never forget that the power to improve your self esteem comes from within you. The only place to start when working on your self esteem, is to simply decide that you are going to do it. Make the decision that you are going to have high self esteem and accept the power within.
When trying to stay positive through your self help process, take the time to look at your surroundings and admire everything that is great about life. For example, the sun provides the entire world (and more) with energy, you should take simple things like this to provide you with positive reinforcement.
A great personal development tip is to try to get the most precision that you can possibly acquire. If you believe in luck, then you should know that the people with the most luck are those that have the most precise calculations. Precision is key to success and personal development.
Do not ignore what your body is telling you. Spirit and body are usually approached as two different aspects of a person, but your health definitely influences your mind. Make sure you get enough sleep, and eat healthy food. Do not ignore pain or signs of hunger or tiredness. You will be more efficient with a body in good shape.

Picture this

https://www.sysmoe.com/blog/picture-this

https://www.sysmoe.com/blog/picture-this#comments

Uncategorized

You...A public servant, vested and dedicated. You've worked diligently for years..survived daily rush hours, long days and more"other duties as assigned",tasks then most.Projects appear more often with higher expectations. You give the work all you have and all you can find. You're at the phase - you go there every day, butyour mind is mostly somewhere else. You don't hate anyone or anything - You feel stuck...What you do is meaningful to someone, you make adifference but [...]

You...
A public servant, vested and dedicated.
You've worked diligently for years..
survived daily rush hours, long days and more
"other duties as assigned",tasks then most.
Projects appear more often with higher expectations.
You give the work all you have and all you can find.

You're at the phase - you go there every day, but
your mind is mostly somewhere else.
You don't hate anyone or anything - You feel stuck...
What you do is meaningful to someone, you make a
difference but that someone is not you.

Your day dream (and night dream too) depict something
different...The scenery is beautiful and engaging.
The feeling is peaceful and joyous; you're happy and content.
You see yourself living as if you're vacationing everyday...
Waking up when you want and you decide the itinerary,
because you can.

The images in your head show all
the things you'd rather be doing...
traveling, spending time with the ones you love...
the beach, fishing, shopping and golfing and it's
always Tuesday. Each morning upon awakening, the bank opens your account with another
$86,400 for that day.
5. The bank can end the game without warning; at any time, it can say, "Game Over!" It can close the account, and you will not receive a new one.
What would you personally do?
You would buy anything and everything you wanted. Right!
Not only for yourself, but for all the people you love and care for.
Even for people you don't know, because you couldn't possibly spend it all on yourself - Right!
You would try to spend every penny, and use it all, because you knew it would be replenished in the morning, right?
ACTUALLY, THIS GAME IS REAL!
Are you shocked??? Yes!!!
Each of us is already a winner of this *PRIZE*. We just can't seem to see it.
The PRIZE is “TIME"
1. Also, sharing shoes can spread fungi like athlete's foot and nail fungus.

Examine the Heels. Children may wear through the heels of shoes quicker than outgrowing shoes themselves. Uneven heel wear can indicate a foot problem that should be checked by a podiatrist.

Take Your Child Shoe Shopping. Every shoe fits differently. Letting a kid have a say in the shoe buying process promotes healthy foot habits down the road.

Always Buy for the Larger Foot. Feet are seldom precisely the same size.

Buy Shoes That Do Not Need a “Break-In” Period. Shoes should be comfortable immediately. It was full of excitement! The air was easy to breathe and the genie fulfilled my every wish. I laughed, dance and celebrated with family and friends and opened all the gifts...amazed at how thoughtful people were with their gift selection (especially the ones in the envelope).
Feeling grateful and motivated was the order of the day, in fact that feeling lasted a few days...weeks even. Then reality set in ...expectations were different; and I felt it.

Now what?

Move out of my parents home, buy a car and live the singles life (urban style)! I wanted it to happen, quick...Realizing the obvious, I knew the entry-level job that I was in wasn't going to meet the bill. The work-study job was over and the designer things I purchased with my gift cards began to feel like a dumb thing to do. I immediately did the math...basic expenses plus recreation left me in deficit mode... additional income is what I wanted...needed - Now!
The fact that I graduated really meant my support system had changed drastically. I had decisions to make and soon...After-all, I dreamed about this time for many years and I wasn't about to give up my "urban lifestyle" dream...So the search was on!

Find a better job, work overtime were the first options I thought of and exactly what I did; however having my own business was always my dream and finally years later, I'm a business owner. I realized now that my journey with all of the twist and turns, ups & downs lead me to the same place I envisioned so many years ago. While I'm grateful for the experience I can't deny that I spent too much time in my comfort zone. Today, celebrating being a business owner with such delight makes me wonder what the hell was I thinking...living 25 years dead waiting to be buried.

I share this story to encourage you to follow your dream Now!
